A Pocatello Senior with a Vision

This gorgeous senior knew exactly what she wanted for her summer senior photos — golden hour, cows, and a setting that felt effortlessly timeless. Farm and Hive delivered all that and more. Located just outside of Pocatello in Inkom, Idaho, this spot is a hidden gem . It’s got dreamy open pastures, a stunning bridge over the Portneuf River, and the kind of soft, glowy light that makes every frame feel golden.  I always stock up on all the goodies in the store while I am there too.  From local honey & fresh in season fruit to all things beeswax.  

Cows, Horses & Bridgerton Vibes

One of the sweetest parts of the session? The animals! The cows were definitely stars of the show, but the horse totally stole our hearts. It kept wandering over to her — clearly a fan of her energy. And speaking of style, her outfits were so on point. Think flowy dresses, soft colors, and one gown in particular that gave us major Bridgerton vibes. It was romantic, elegant, and just perfect for twirling on that little wooden bridge with the river glistening below.

Golden Hour Glow

We timed the session just right to end with golden hour light—and wow, it did not disappoint. The sun dipped behind the hills, casting a warm, buttery glow across the fields. As the light poured in, we wrapped up the evening with the cows grazing nearby and the last few portraits bathed in soft, magical tones. It was the kind of light that makes you fall in love with photography all over again.
